Now We're Cookin'...

When I started this blog (or just put a header and a background in) I had every intention of documenting some of the creative projects I try to squeeze into my free time. Well, I've been busy! But, this project could not go unsung. This is actually not my own, buy my extremely creative parents. They created this kitchen for my son for his birthday, and it is AMAZING! My son loves it, and I think I love playing with it just as much, maybe more. There are so many little details, it even has lights in the fridge. Let's get cookin', thanks grandma and grandpa!

Fully equiped with a microwave, dishwasher and stove.
Burners made from.....floor drains!
Magnetic kitchen timer, I am sure that won't be working after long :)
Metal wire storage. Lots of room for food... now I am motivated to make some felt food!

Lets play!

Fall Decorating

I actually spruced up my mantel for fall this year. With the help of a little Pinterest inspiration, some items I currently had, spray paint, and Target's $2.50 bargains, I am so pleased! Tutorial for the cute candy corn garland here, I modified mine a bit.

We'll give it a try...

I have wanted to do this for a while, maybe not so much to have a blog for people to follow (because there are so many amazing blogs out there already), but for my own portfolio of things... Somewhere between working full time, being a wife, taking care of my awesome 1 year old, walking my dog (sometimes), cooking, cleaning, (the list could go on and on).... I try and find some time to do fun crafts. It is my relaxing time! My "me" time! I really enjoy it, so why not keep track of my projects in a fun way? I can't take credit for coming up with all the ideas, thanks to Pinterest there is a world of endless possibilities at the touch of my browser toolbar. How cool. And overwhelming at the same time!

So, here goes nothing!
